Packsaddle Lake: A hikers paradise

“My experience going to Packsaddle has been an adventure getting there each time. There are some rough roads getting there so bring an SUV with a little bit of clearance. If you enjoy some basic off-roading, it can be a lot of fun.

My favorite thing to do at packsaddle is enjoy the scenery and pack a lunch for a picnic. The water is beautiful but a little chilly since it is a glacier-fed lake. There are some rope swings that are a blast. Definitely a highlight of the trip as well. “ -Kevin, S
